Testimonials

It’s hard to have a bad day at the school since the atmosphere is so cheery and uplifting! . . . I love how the school provides so much for the children and takes into account our needs and what we like! I love being at Munro with my friends and teachers!

~ Sarwat  (Grade 9)

Munro staff provides a safe environment where students can freely express their creative, unique personalities without feeling uncomfortable or ashamed.

~ Bekah (Grade 6)

Every other school it would be “what did you learn today at school?” and my reply would be “Nothing.” But at Munro it is like “what did you learn today?” and now my reply is always “SO MUCH!”
~ Kaylee (Grade 7)
I really love MA. I’m so glad I came here: it’s done wonders for my health and happiness. I’ve got a lot of friends and they’re all very kind and funny. . . I FINALLY, FINALLY feel like I fit in. . . I like the work we do as well! It actually makes me think and it’s actually challenging. MA is great!
~ Ari (Grade 8)
There are also many extracurriculars in which I can be involved in, my favourite ones being After School Drama and Volleyball (when it’s Volleyball season). Munro Academy also holds lots of opportunities for students to be more involved with service like Community Studies where students are allowed to work in the Early Learning Centre for a credit, the Student Council where they plan lots of fun activities for students, Yearbook Committee, tutoring opportunities for younger students, and the Worship Team.
~ Abigail (Grade 9)
Being at Munro Academy changed the way I look at school. At my old school I would never go and dreaded Mondays. Now, since I transferred, I look forward to coming to school! I love how we do lots of hands-on learning and get taught important things that we will need when we are older. For example, How to make professional phone calls, learning financial stuff in math, etc.
~ Abby T (Grade 10)
